WoWOptimus
WoWOptimus is a relatively new free World Of Warcraft server, running as a 3.3.3a patched server, however definately posses some great staff who clearly have experience in running servers, and basically making every minute playing more enjoyable. The starting gear is custom as one option or Tier 7 and S5 pvp gear gear which can be picked up easily from the 'Welcome Quest' and from major city Stormwind or Orgrimmar provided at the starter area of each race. The server is running off an AcrEmu on 64bits package which is probably one of the best packs you can get for a public server. The server doesn't lag, unless you computer is not quite up to gaming standards, it doesnt crash and it is online pretty much 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
There are 2 realms: High rates 20x and classic wow Blizzlike 10x

A: Yes, there are daily events such as 'Stairs for Starters' 'Boss Events' and also more rare ones.

A: Only if you win an event.

A: Yes, they will always get back to you on any problems or questions you may have within 10 minutes or so.
4. Q: Are there any serious bugs?
A: No, there are still a few minor ones but the WoWOptimus team are very quick to respond to any bugs or faults found.
