hey all...

im not sure if many of you guys have got a demo copy of the new game crysis...

anywho i have been poking around and i have found this...

LEVEL HACK FOR CRYSIS DEMO...

• Unlocks 20+ vehicles ingame... Tanks, Choppers, Boats, Hovercraft, etc...
• Unlocks 7+ weapons ingame... Tactical Nuke, Missile Launcher, SMG, etc...
• Preview of a few alien enemies... Flying alien craft spawned...

I have personally tested this hack and it works perfectly...
and i'm very very impressed with the whole crysis setup...
its one hell of a good game..

This map mod allows you to unlock many features in the demo.

What's in there? Guns. Lots of guns - the game's entire repertoire (as well as an impressive selection of various explosives), it appears. Tanks, boats, assorted military vehicles and ridiculously powerful helicopters (which handle a little like Battlefield's, and are hilarious overkill against the still popgun-armed Korean dudes).

Some install note fromRock, Paper, Shotgun:

Extract the level.pak file and dump it into C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Levels\island. Either overwrite the exisiting level.pak in there, or rename it to something with a different extension (e.g. .old) if you don’t wanna have to reinstall the demo later.

Then, start a new game in the demo (yes, you’ll have to do the cutscene’n'parachtute drop hoopla again) - be warned that apparently it only works on the Normal difficultly setting - and keep playing until the bit where you find your mate all Predatored up in thetrees. Start following the objective arrow, and you’ll soon find a table full of a goodies, and an angry alien in the skies. Just beyond the table is an enemy encampment, and a short run to the left of that is vehicle and many-gun heaven. Clearly, this may spoil some of the full gamefor you. But in the relatively open environment of the demo’s island map, it allows for mega-playtime. Be warned that approaching the centre of the map in a chopper triggers the final cutscene and ends the demo, though.

'hello guys, I suddenly have found my modificated of the island map here and have to tell you some further things which may be important: Windows Vistadoes not work with it properly, the reason is not known yet.

This could solve this problem: Backup your old /island/level.pak in a whole new folder and then overwrite the /island/level.pak with the modified one.'

Map 5 is a lot of fun. Just be careful when firing a tactical nuke from a tank. If you're not far away enough you'll be vaporized along with your target.

FOR THOSE WITH VISTA 32BIT OR 64BIT

Yes the MOD does work in Vista 64bit.
All you have to do is rename the Leval(5) pack to "level5" and add it to the
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis SP Demo\Game\Levels\island
And hear is the important part you have to start the game with your 32bit .exe
And play in the Normal mode for those of you that have the64bit ver of Winblow's.
Also since you have renamed the pac file there is no conflict when you add the level5 file.
Your not trying to delete or over wright the original file. As soon as you finish the short film
where your teammate is vaporised you will be attacked by an alien if everything is ok.

HAHAHHA I want it badly... the graphics aint the best i heard but the game play is funny..

But yer crysis i have to give it ago now
